ABOUT

Jennifer Anteau founded Made With Love Not Gluten Bakery after a lifetime of baking.  She hold a bachelor's degree in health sciences from Lebanon Valley College and doctorate in physical therapy from Shenandoah University.  Before opening the bakery in 2012, she was a licensed physical therapist.

MY GRANDMOTHER'S INFLUENCE

Jennifer's grandmother Erma inspired her to bake even as a little girl.  She taught her everything she knew.  Even today, people in Jennifer's hometown remember Erma's delicious saffron rolls and traditional English pasties.  Grandma taught Jennifer to enjoy baking and that is the love that Jennifer puts into everything she bakes.  Grandma always loved visiting the bakery, and Jennifer is thankful she got to see it grow before she passed away in 2016.

WHY I DO WHAT I DO

After Jennifer was diagnosed with Celiac disease in 2009, she was routinely disappointed by the taste, texture, and quality of the gluten free products that were available at the time.  For the sake of her children, who are also gluten intolerant, she knew there was a better way.  It was then that she began developing gluten free versions of the delicious recipes that her Grandma gave her.

Jennifer worked very hard to put all of herself into what she did to prepare consistently delicious gluten-free products for you and your family to enjoy.
